Help the campaign to bring back Relic Hunter for another season! Below are 10 things we can do to S.O.S (Save Our Series)- Relic Hunter! Sure, it may mean giving up the odd five minutes here and there, but just think of the hours of fun we'll be having if we get another season, or at least some television movies out of it.
1. General promotion of the series is important for adding that "strength" to our campaign. If you have a non-RH website, dedicate some of the space to advertising the show and the DVDs that are on sale.
2. Contact Fireworks. If they know the strength of our campaign, they will be more likely to take action and to get in contact with Tia, etc. Contact can be made via: info@firecorp.com
3. Contact Tia Carrere, making her aware of some of the reasons why the show should continue. Here are some suggestions: As Sydney Fox, Tia Carrere did not play any of the ridiculous stereotypes that are connected to the Asian culture and showed that race was not a boundary.
For many fans, Relic Hunter offered an escape from everyday life to wonderful adventures around the world. For others, the show was an opportunity to express creative flair- seen from the extensive number of fansites and fanfiction.
However, Relic Hunter was also important to a lot of fans because it broke the mould. The principle female was not a damsel in distress- she was strong and courageous- providing a firm role models for many fans. Equally, the principle male showed that you don't have to be macho and muscular to be heroic, brains are just as important as brawn.
Posting your thoughts to the following address will mean Tia has access to them:

4. Contact Paramount Pictures, letting them know of your hopes for a S4, and that support for the show is increasing constantly. Contact can be made via:
Paramount Studios

Hollywood, CA 90038

5. Promote kult-tv. The more RH DVDs are purchased, the more grounds we have for campaigning, and the more 'attractive' the show will be to pick up! The addie for kult-tv is:

6. Submit news stories to increase RH publicity. I'm not suggesting that you lie- only 'bend' the truth slightly! Some examples of sites that allow you to submit news stories are:
http://www.comingsoon.net
http://www.darkhorizons.com
Examples of possible news stories include:
RH Star (Tia Carrere) Is 'Wonder Woman' Candidate
Buffy/Relic Hunter Crossover Planned For Season Finale
It's important to point out that the stories should be harmless (i.e. they do not 'shock'), and that they should draw new interest to the show. For example- the Buffy/RH crossover story will mean a great deal of Buffy fans begin researching into Relic Hunter. Meanwhile, the story- about Tia being considered for the part of Wonder Woman- isn't really a lie; I'm sure she's been considered at one time or another.
7. Contact large organisations (i.e. feminist groups) that would have an interest in Relic Hunter, and encourage them to participate in the campaign. The advantage of using organisations like these are that get a larger number of people involved.
8. Promote this campaign- not only on Relic Hunter sites but also, on sites that might indirectly have a connection with Relic Hunter. Examples of these include- Xena Websites, Tia Carrere Fansites, Lindy Booth Fansites, etc.
9. Don't forget that your friends might have websites in very different areas! Try and get them to promote Relic Hunter, RH DVDs or this campaign. This is beneficial because it attracts "new meat" to the show. Perhaps make a small banner that they could stick somewhere on the site. The more attractive the banner, the more eye-catching it will be to the passer-by. In time, I will post some banners on this site that you can use.
10. If you are really determined, you could make leaflets, flyers, stickers, posters, badges, etc. and get distributing!
Bottom line: We can do it!
